Return & Refund Policy

We want you to enjoy your purchase, but if an issue arises, we’re here to help.


Return Window

You have 14 days after receiving your item to request a return.
To be eligible, the item must be in the same condition that you received it — unopened, unused, and in its original packaging.

To start a return, contact us at beyondthehobby.shop@gmail.com.
If your return is accepted, we’ll provide a return shipping label (if applicable) and instructions.
Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.


Damage and Defects

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us immediately if an item is defective, damaged, or incorrect.

A defective product is damaged or malfunctioning due to manufacturer or packaging error before it reaches the customer. Examples include:

  • Broken or detached parts (e.g., joints, limbs, or accessories)
  • Missing components listed in the product description
  • Paint or printing errors that clearly deviate from manufacturer standards

Exceptions:

  • Minor cosmetic imperfections (small paint variations, box dents, packaging creases) are not defects
  • Articulation issues (loose, stiff, or tight joints) are not defects, as these are common variations in collectible action figures and do not affect the product’s overall integrity or authenticity
  • Damaged shipping cartons with intact products are not eligible for replacement

We may request photos of the item and packaging to verify the issue.
Beyond the Hobby covers return shipping costs for verified defective or incorrect items.


Change-of-Mind Returns

If you wish to return an item for reasons other than defect or error, the following conditions apply:

  • The item must be undamaged, unopened, and in its original sealed packaging
  • Returns must be requested within 14 days of delivery
  • You are responsible for return shipping costs (we recommend using a tracked service)
  • A 20% restocking fee will be deducted from your refund

Refunds are issued after we receive and inspect the returned item and confirm it meets these conditions.


Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Certain items cannot be returned, including:

  • Opened or used items
  • Items removed from original packaging
  • Final sale items

Fraud Prevention: Anyone attempting to return counterfeit items or substitute products not purchased from Beyond the Hobby will be denied, reported to authorities, and may be banned from future purchases.


Refused and Undeliverable Shipments

  • Refused shipments are treated as returns; any applicable return shipping costs and restocking fees will be deducted from the refund
  • Undeliverable packages due to incorrect addresses or missed deliveries may be reshipped after payment of return and reshipping costs

Return Shipping

  • Defective or incorrect items: Beyond the Hobby covers return shipping via prepaid label
  • Change-of-mind returns: Buyer is responsible for all shipping costs
  • We are not responsible for lost or damaged return shipments

Loungefly Return Policy

The following terms apply only to Loungefly bags and override our general return policy where stated:

  • Loungefly bags may be returned within 14 days of delivery
  • Items must be unused, unworn, in original condition, with all tags attached
  • tems must be returned in original packaging
  • Items marked Final Sale, Clearance, Limited Edition, or Exclusive are non-returnable
  • Customer is responsible for return shipping costs, unless the item arrives damaged or incorrect
  • Original shipping fees are non-refundable
  • Refunds are issued after inspection to the original payment method

If a Loungefly item arrives damaged or incorrect, customers must contact us within 7 days of delivery with photos for assistance.


Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we’ll notify you of approval or rejection.
If approved, refunds will be issued to your original payment method within 10 business days.
Processing times may vary depending on your bank or payment provider.
